Nobody was leaving early. Not after the 90th minute turned into its own separate match.

Levante and Sevilla played out a 3-3 draw on Monday night that had no business being as chaotic as it was — and yet here we are. Sevilla led twice, Levante clawed back twice, then both sides traded punches in stoppage time like neither had the sense to stop. Isaac Romero put Sevilla ahead in the 95th minute, got booked for it, then earned a second yellow three minutes later and walked. Ifeanyi Ndukwe equalized in the 100th. Cabal, that was the only way this game was ever going to end.

The First Half Was Calm. Don't Be Fooled.

Robbie Ure opened the scoring at 13 minutes — a clean Sevilla goal that gave the visitors something to protect. They spent much of the first half doing exactly that, sitting deeper and leaning on Levante's tendency to circulate possession without quite breaking through. Levante had the ball (56.6% on the night), but Sevilla were content to make them work for every inch.

Adrián de la Fuente picked up a yellow at 39 minutes, and Felix Correia followed him into the book three minutes after halftime. Neither seemed to change the tactical picture much.

The Nine-Minute Swing That Defined the Night

Sevilla doubled their lead at 54 minutes. Ure, who had scored the opener, turned provider — his assist set up Felix Correia to make it 2-0, and the match looked like it was drifting toward a comfortable away win.

Three minutes later, it wasn't.

Iván Romero pulled one back for Levante at 57 minutes, assisted by Roger Brugué, and suddenly the Estadi was alive. The hosts had 20 shots on the night to Sevilla's 18, and that pressure was starting to show. Sevilla were committing fouls at more than double Levante's rate — 17 to 7 — and the game was getting scrappy. Andrés Castrín was booked at 63, Alfonso González at 84.

But for all of Levante's pressure, Sevilla held the lead into the final minutes. Then came the 90th.

Stoppage Time Lost Its Mind

Adrián de la Fuente, already on a yellow, leveled it at 2-2 in the 90+2. Sevilla responded immediately — Isaac Romero scored at 90+5 off a Youssouf Fofana assist to make it 3-2 and, in the same breath, picked up a booking for his celebration. The crowd hadn't settled when Romero was shown a second yellow at 90+6, leaving Sevilla with ten men and a one-goal lead and four minutes left to hold it.

They couldn't. Ndukwe finished at 90+10 and that was that.

Our pre-match read couldn't separate these two — a near-even matchup that stayed exactly that, a draw that neither side can feel great about.

Levante will feel they left points behind given their territorial dominance. Sevilla, though, will spend the week wondering how a side that led 3-2 in the 95th minute ends up with nothing — and whether Isaac Romero's implosion in stoppage time costs them more than just a point before the season is done.
