Fiorentina had the lead and the crowd and, on paper, the better shot at three points. None of it held. Torino came to Florence and left with a 2-1 win that, by the final whistle, felt about right.

Our pre-match read had Fiorentina as 46% favorites, and for a spell it looked like the hosts would make that stick. Mateo Pellegrino broke the deadlock just two minutes into the second half, finishing off a Radu Dragusin assist to give the Viola exactly the cushion they needed. The Franchi had a pulse again.

It didn't last.

The Comeback

Torino were the better team for long stretches regardless of the scoreline. They finished with 60.6% possession and 551 passes at 90% accuracy — patient, controlled, never rattled. Fiorentina had more shots (14 to 7), but only six troubled the keeper. The home side was swinging from distance and hoping.

The equalizer came in the 74th minute. Rolando Mandragora, picking up a pass from Eray Cömert, made it 1-1 with the kind of finish a midfielder that age makes look routine. The stadium went quiet in the way stadiums do when a team senses what's coming.

What came was Ché Adams. Eight minutes later, fed by Rafik Belghali, Adams put Torino ahead for the first time all night. Two goals in eight minutes, and the game was done.

Fiorentina's goalkeeper made four saves to keep the margin from getting worse. Torino's kept two. The numbers tell the story: the visitors converted half their shots on target into goals; the hosts converted one of six.

¡Ala gran púchica! — four losses in five for a Fiorentina side that, coming into this one, will have felt the pressure already. They had the possession battle surrendered from the jump (39.4% to 60.6%), and while 14 shots sounds like activity, most of it was peripheral. Torino sat back, absorbed, and then took the game apart in the final twenty minutes.

For Torino, this is a second win in their last two after three straight losses — the kind of result that quiets the noise around a wobbling run. Mandragora and Adams both delivered when it mattered, and the defensive structure held firm after going behind.

The question now is whether Fiorentina's problems run deeper than one bad night. A back four that conceded twice in the final fifteen minutes, a midfield that couldn't hold the ball, and a form line reading LLLWD — that's a team that will need answers soon, not just a result. Torino, meanwhile, will feel this one for a while. Road wins at the Franchi don't come cheap.
