What Now for Fiorentina?
The form coming in was mixed — two losses, a win, a draw, a win — and this doesn't help. A home shutout against a side that came in flying is one thing; losing this heavily while controlling possession is another. The question now is whether this was a freak result or a sign that something is genuinely wrong in how Fiorentina convert their dominance into danger.
Frosinone, meanwhile, will feel very good about themselves. Five wins from six is a serious run, and doing it at the Franchi, with two players on yellows before the half-hour, makes it even better.
